It is indeed a process! I believe that Jesus was knocking on the door of my heart for my whole life, but I didn’t realise it until I was in my forties. It was as though I looked everywhere but in the Word of God! I feel so silly now! But also eternally grateful that He prepared my heart for receiving the gospel when the time was right. 💓✝️
How long would you say you have been drawing closer to Jesus?
This verse just came to mind after reading your comment 🙂 John 6:44 “No one can come to me unless the Father who sent me draws him. And I will raise him up on the last day.”
